Week 15 Year 2 – Reflecting Inharmony

Does it happen to you that you want to have your plan manifested, but it doesn’t?

Hope you like this week’s video.

Hi, this is Alejandro, and this is my bike. Let’s go, guys!

Hey, first off, I’d really want to thank you for taking your time to watch these videos, it really is an honor to have you here, and I’ll be open, sometimes there’s so much I’d like to share that I don’t know where to start cuz it’s so much fun, but I also wanna make them short and juicy for you.

Ok ok, this week wanted to talk about something, but something else kept poppin’ into my mind. Does that ever happen to you? We have an idea of what we want to do, where we want to go, but things keep happening that send us crashing and burning against the ground.

What I wanted to talk about this week is that I am often entertaining myself with different, “projects,” as I call them, you know?

One of those projects is learning as much as I can about good writing so, as a good White, I have all sorts of different sub-projects under that project, right?

So, wanted to talk about how I was completely left in awe in Part 15, with the idea of how our language is the audible form of our thoughts, that we must look after our language as carefully as we look after our thoughts. That language is something we produce, something we control, how we gain influence by it, and how it reflects the thoughts that we have.

And about the idea that our language will either transform our lives into a castle or a prison. About the Roman & Raphaelson, John Caples, the great Claude Hopkins…

Wanted to talk about how many giant voices last year said to me in one way or another, that writing is good, and having the ability to write is, literally, having the ability to write your own check in life…

But something else kept happening…

Obstacles, difficulties, delays, whatever!

All distractions distract equally!

So, Haanel wrote:

12. The first form which thought will find is language, or words; this determines the importance of words; they are the first manifestation of thought — the vessels in which thought is carried. They take hold of the ether and by setting it in motion reproduce the thought to others in the form of sound.

And again…

Rejected, delayed, addicted to old peptides…

Crash and burn into the ground again.

He also wrote:

3. Difficulties, inharmonies, and obstacles, indicate that we are either refusing to give out what we no longer need, or refusing to accept what we require.

Hey, we all have good days and better days! And you know there’s often a blind spot we have missed.

4. Growth is attained through an exchange of the old for the new, of the good for the better; it is a conditional or reciprocal action, for each of us is a complete thought entity and this completeness makes it possible for us to receive only as we give.

I’m pretty sure that I have blind spots, that I refuse to exchange old beliefs, and one of my “projects” for this year is Self-Control so, already it is being an interesting exploration so far!

Anyways, the point here is,

1. The laws under which we live are designed solely for our advantage. These laws are immutable and we cannot escape from their operation.

Again it is no surprise, when we find inharmonious conditions we will always find them to be reflecting inharmony in thoughts and words.

And viceversa.

This week in the MKE came with a cool and special “project” for all of us in class, courtesy of none other than good ‘ol Ben Franklin.

I seriously love it! It is outrageous, wicked fun!! Thanks a lot MKE!!

Ok guys, hope this makes sense and you’ve found some value.

Please share with me your thoughts about language and words. Do they even matter? =)

And to all my fellow writers, I salute you.

See you guys next week.
